Ian Chivers

Ian pioneered the development of automated courtroom services and the paperless legal process in Australia in the early 1990s. Ian has been the architect of many of Systematics' signature projects and continues to provide specialist support in courtroom automation, legal technology strategy and technology implementation and support environments. Ian studied Law and IT during the seventies, was admitted as a Solicitor in 1978 and joined Systematics in 1987 from the position of Secretary of the NSW Department of Water Resources. Ian has written and presented widely on courtoom automation and paperless legal process and was the winner of the NSW Law Society's inaugural Legal Technology Award, for the implementation of a paperless office.
Ian has addressed the issues of legal information management and technology in many presented papers, including papers to the
Australian Institute of Judicial Administration, Inter-Pacific Bar Association, Australian Insurance Law Association, Law Council of Australia, Institute of Chartered Accountants, Judicial Council of California., Annual Conference of Australian Superior Court Judges.

Monica Dunne

Monica is the author of Systematics' Litigation Support Methodology and is one of Systematics' Principal Consultants in this area. Monica has designed materials management approaches for many of Australia's largest legal events. She had more than 10 years experience in litigation support management with first tier law firms before joining Systematics.

Nathan Drury

Nathan graduated with Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Information Technology degrees in 1994. He subsequently gained extensive legal and development experience, enabling him to take a broad role within Systematics. In addition to his key role in the continuing development of Systematics Signature and Systematics Court, Nathan works actively with clients to ensure that the software environments are implemented and used to maximise commercial, tactical and procedural advantage.

Julia Englert

Julia has significant litigation support project management experience, having managed both hard copy and electronic materials projects in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne. Prior to joining Systematics in 2004, Julia was a project manager for Europe's largest insurer. Julia is tertiary qualified and speaks five languages.

Jeff Frankling

Jeff has worked in the information and technology industries since the early 1990s after studying law. He has implemented and managed the technical infrastructure for many of Systematics' signature projects. Jeff joined Systematics in 1998.

Daniel Hagan

Daniel first joined Systematics in 1996 in an information technology role. Since 2007, his focus has shifted towards Project Management and infrastructure and communications management and control. Daniel is based in Systematics' Sydney office.

Kylie Petersen

Kylie completed her law degree in 1991 and left practice with Clayton Utz in 1998 to undertake a Master of Business, for which she received the Dean’s Award for Excellence. Since 1999 she has specialised in the application of technology to legal practice and has project managed the development, commercialisation and client implementation of multiple web-enabled legal tools and applications. Kylie writes on the application of technology to legal practice for professional publications and lectures in the same subject at Queensland University of Technology.

Ben Reid

Ben is a Macromedia Certified Professional and is a member of the Systematics' Software development team. Ben is primarily involved in ongoing web interface and infrastructure design and implementation. His additional responsibilities include technical architecture setup and implementation, client installation management and specialist Help Desk support. Prior to joining Systematics, Ben worked with a leading Internet advertising agency, creating websites and developing applications for a range of high profile Australian organisations. Ben holds a Bachelor of Multimedia/Design Major with excellence and is industry certified.
